Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026.

AirspaceRegistry.org collects only what it needs to operate a public location registry, and never sells your personal information.

What we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address (via Firebase Authentication) to sign you in and to send verification and account messages.

Location data. When you register a location, we store the coordinates and any address you provide. If you use the “Use my current location” feature, your device’s location is requested only at that moment, only to place a pin you choose to register, and only with your permission. We do not track or record your location in the background.

Verification documents. If you request Document Verified status, the utility bill or similar proof you upload is stored privately, visible only to you and registry administrators, and is intended to be deleted after review. It is never shown on your public registry entry.

Feedback. Anything you submit through the feedback form, including an optional email if you provide one.

What is public

Registry entries — the location, its coordinates, and the drone/AR preferences you set — are public by design, so the registry can serve its purpose. Your email and any uploaded documents are not public.

How we use it

To operate the registry, authenticate you, review verification requests, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers.

Where it’s stored

Data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Storage), subject to Google’s security and privacy practices.

Your choices

You can decline or revoke the location permission at any time in your device or browser settings (the registry still works — you can search or drop a pin). You may request deletion of your account or registry entries by contacting us.
